I have since put an end to this particular project, but please read through these entries and enjoy them as you will.
While the Claremont Colleges may not be on the cutting edge of art and fashion, I still manage to find myself being inspired and influenced by the people that I see around me. For those that are particularly visually interesting, or those that my featured students recommend, I want to be able to capture a sense of what exactly it is that makes them so noticeable.
It just so happens that these people are ones that I would consider to have a strong sense of style. Of course, that word is somewhat meaningless yet quite powerful, so take what you will from that statement. But I find these people fascinating and want to figure out what exactly is going on in their heads that then manifests itself in how they present themselves to the world. If you're reading this, I hope you do too.
So enjoy, and send a compliment or two when you see someone dressed in a way you enjoy. It's amazing what a few nice words can do for a person's day.
